Father's Day - We Appreciate you Mr Maude!
I am posting this on day one of a strict Level 4 Covid Lockdown here in Aotearoa. We've all retreated to the safety of our homes - where there are moments of chaos; time for pause and reflection; and time to look around the room and appreciate those in our bubbles. For me, I'm incredibly lucky to have Mr Maude here - right now he's chief kiddie wrangler, homeschooler, baker and even moonlighting as a deep cleaner! (but he's not one of the models featured in this post!) While I'm working from home, I'm going to make some time to work with the 'little Maudes' to show him how much we appreciate him. Father's Day is only a couple of weeks away - so we'll be diving into the stash to stitch up sometime that says 'we care'.
We sent out the following as an email a week or so ago to show off some of our patterns and supplies for gift giving. While we can't ship anything at the moment - perhaps you can still get a little inspiration from this? Maybe you already have some of the patterns or similar in your stash? You'll also see at the bottom of this post that I will link through to some of our free gift tutorials that you can use now, from home.

We have made this up in our beautiful European Laundered Linen which would make a great apron for the foodie. Or you could use a heavier weight fabric like our Oilskin or our Denim to make a more sturdy apron for a keen DIYer.
