We strive to turn orders around within one working day.

Our New Zealand courier network normally delivers overnight, with an additional couple of days for rural deliveries - however we can't gaurantee delivery times once parcels leave the store. Our Courier Providers work hard to deliver as quickly as possible.

International Parcels are being shipped via tracked international courier services - delivery times vary and are indicated at checkout. There may be be some delays to these anticipated shipping times. Updated 1 September 2022

Under normal circumstances we aim to pack and ship your order within one working day of receiving your order/completed payment. New Zealand deliveries to major towns are typically delivered overnight; for detailed shipping information including international orders, please refer to our Shipping section

Our fabrics are sold in 10cm increments. Minimum cuts are 0.5m online or 0.3m instore.

In the "ORDER FABRIC" box on each fabric product page, enter your required amount in metres. Click 'ADD TO CART' button.

NOTE: Once you get to the checkout and payment section of the website, your fabric quanity will show as the number of 10cm increments you have order. For example, if you have order 1.5m, at checkout the quanity will show as 15 (ie 15 x 10cm = 1.5m).
We will cut your order as one continuous piece.

If you have placed an order and we have not processed it yet, we may be able to make changes for you. If we have already cut fabric for your order, we are unable to make changes to this. If you'd like to add or swap out anything else in your order, we can do so. We will send you payment details where additional payment is required. We do our best to identify and combine orders where we can. Please feel free to email us at info@missmaudesewing.co.nz to let us know if you have orders to combine into one shipping parcel. Where we can, we will combine orders and refund any overpaid shipping, less a small $1 processing fee. This service is not guaranteed and sometimes not possible - but we will do our best!

In some circumstances, customers will appear to have two charges on their online credit card statement. This occurs within the credit card/banking system and is beyond our control.
In these circumstances one charge will be listed as 'Pending'. This pending amount will not actually charge against your credit card and will be removed from your statement/account automatically after a couple of days. If you find this is not the case, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

We spend a lot of time searching for and stocking high quality fabrics and sewing supplies. We only stock what we love to sew and we want you to be delighted with what you buy from us.

FABRICS: Please note that fabrics are sold as bespoke items (ie we cut them to your requested size), so we are unable to exchange these if you change your mind. If colour, weight and texture are important for your purchase, we recommend you order a sample piece prior to committing to a project length of fabric. While we do our best to accurately represent the colour of our fabrics, please note that all monitors, screens and devices show colours differently.

If, however, you receive faulty or damaged fabric, please get in touch and we will gladly arrange a suitable remedy.

ALL OTHER PRODUCTS: If for any reason, you are not happy with your purchase of non-fabric items you may return it for a refund. We will refund the amount of your purchase (which includes the shipping cost of your order). You will, however, be responsible for the cost of return post and packaging and returns must be received within 15 working days of delivery.

Except where goods are returned due to fault or damage, we retain a small $1 processing fee on returns.

Please ensure that the goods are returned in their original condition and packaging.Please email before making a return at info@missmaudesewing.co.nz.

Refunds and returns are not available on sale items.

Refunds will be made via the same method you made your payment for the order.

We have recently changed our website platform - all unused and valid gift cards have been transferred to our new platform. If for some reason, your voucher code isn't working - please get in touch. You will need to let us know what the gift voucher code is, and the expiry date. We will then be able to make sure all valid vouchers are able to be used shopping the store.
