The Billy Vest sewing pattern is a fabulous hardworking gilet. You can sew your own with sturdy, water resistant fabrics, or make one for casual city style in denim or linen fabric. Choose to sew yours lined or unlined, with facings on the inside or outside.
Sizes UK 34 - 54.
Skill level; Intermediate.
Recommended Fabrics – Oilskin, linen, 7-12oz denim, wool, corduroy, cotton twills or canvas. For the lining we’d suggest barrier lining or our light weight dry oilskin if using a traditional oilskin, otherwise – cotton voile, lightweight linen, cotton poplin, lightweight wool and slip linings.
