Merchant & Mills Sanda Coat
An oversized coat or jacket with a rolled collar and turn back cuffs. Coat has inseam pockets and jacket has patch pockets. Choose to make either lined or unlined.
Skill level – intermediate.
Recommended fabric: Dry oilskin, oilskin, linen, 8-11oz denim, wool, corduroy, cotton drill or canvas. A heaver weight cloth with result in a more structured coat.
For linings we'd suggest our barrier lining if using an oilskin, otherwise - cotton voile, lightweight linen, cotton poplin, lightweight wool and slip linings.

*If you are a curvy size 18, we would recommend selecting the 18-28 size range.
You will also need:
Matching thread.
4 x 20mm buttons (jacket).
6 x 20mm buttons (coat).
0.35m pocket bag lining (unlined coat).
0.2m patch pocket lining (unlined jacket).
0.25m seam tape.
1.4m interfacing (coat)*.
0.8m interfacing (jacket)*.
*Interfacing not needed if using oilskin.
