Merchant & Mills Mathilde Skirt
A simple set of instructions to make a skirt with a deep elasticated waistband. Make with patch, inseam or no pockets. A zero to minimal waste pattern that can make the most of fabrics in your stash.
Skill level; beginner.
Suitable fabrics - light weight wovens such as linen fabric, cotton lawn, cotton poplin, tencel or Indian handlooms.
*Please note that this pattern is instructions only including a set of measurements to cut out your skirt.
Fabric requirements approx: 2m -2.4m @ 140cm. Enlarge last image for fabric requirements and sizing.
This is a tight fit, and doesn't account for any potential shrinkage once your fabric is washed.
You will need: 0.7m - 1.4m of 40mm wide elastic, matching thread
