A beautiful and perfectly formed Cherry wood pin cushion from the Japanese makers some arguably the worlds best pins and needles. They have created a series of pincushions to represent the months of the year.
This Usuzumi-iro pin cushion represents November, a time in Japan of the first frost. Usuzumi is the subtle colour of thinned india ink, and reminds you of winter scenery like an india-ink drawing.
