These needles are suitable for most woven fabrics, some knits and synthetics - they have a slight ball point making them extremely versatile. Suitable to be used with polyester / cotton or silk threads.

As a general guide, the size 70 needles are suited to light weight fabrics such as our cotton batistes; the size 80 needles suit our medium weight cottons, linen, and jersey knit; while the size 90 is suitable for heavier fabrics.
Always test on a scrap piece of fabric before sewing your fabric. Your machine, thread, fabric, and layers will all influence what needle is best for the job.
For denim, we recommend using specially designed denim needles.
