




Oslo Hat, Petite Knit. Knitting Pattern
The Oslo Hat is a great basic hat for all the family! Knit in stockinette stitch on circular needles with a wide brim.
The knitting pattern has been designed to be knitted with two strands of 4ply yarn held together, however you could also substitute for one strand of 8ply. A versatile pattern to use your favourite one off skeins.
This would be lovely knitted with two strands of Miss Maude 4ply Merino or Along Avec Anna Double Merino
Yarn: 4ply/Fingering or 8ply
Meterage:
4ply: 100 (150) 150 (150) g (50 g = 210m))
Note that two strands of yarn are held together throughout, and that the yardage given is the total yardage needed.
8ply: Approx 100 (150) 150 (150) g (50 g = 100m)
Size: XS (S) M (L) the approx. equivalent to baby (junior/woman) woman (man)
Needles:
Circular needles: 3.5 mm [US4] / 40 cm
Double-pointed needles: 3.5 mm [US4]
Or the required needle size to obtain gauge
Gauge: Start by knitting a swatch before beginning the project. Remember to wash and block the finished swatch, as the gauge changes when the yarn is washed.
22-23 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch on 3.5 mm [US4] needles
Level: Beginner +
