The Novice Sweater Junior – Mohair Edition is worked from the top down. You will start by knitting the neck ribbing, then the yoke, then the body of the sweater and finally the sleeves. The sweater is worked in stockinette stitch with edges in rib stitch.
The Novice Sweater Junior – Mohair Edition has a circular yoke. The yoke is shaped with a total of 4 rounds of increases that are evenly distributed along the length of the yoke.
The Novice Sweater has a round yoke, which is shaped by knitting increases on four rounds evenly separated on the yoke.

Note: Two strands of yarn are held together throughout. The given yardage is the total yardage needed. If you want long sleeves on your sweater, please add 25 g of yarn for each size.

Needles: Begin by working a swatch to determine which needle size you need to achieve the correct gauge. Remember to wash your swatch before measuring the gauge
Circular needles: 3 mm [US2½] / 40, 60 and/or 80 cm, 4 mm [US6] / 40, 60 and 80 cm
Double-pointed needles: 3 mm [US2½] needles
Gauge: 21 stitches x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch on 4 mm [US6] needles with 2 strands of silk mohair held together
