The Novice Sweater Junior is a great introduction to knitting garments using circular knitting techniques. With a large size range - this will surely be a knitting pattern to keep and knit as your little people grow.
Choose to knit using a bulky yarn, or holding two standing of 4ply with one lace. A great way to achieve different looks.
The Novice Sweater Junior is knit seamlessly from the top down. That means that you will begin by knitting the neckband, then the yoke, then the body, and finally the sleeves. The sweater is knit in stockinette stitch, while the neckband, bottom edge (waist band), and cuffs are knit in rib.
The Novice Sweater Junior has a round yoke, which is shaped by knitting increases on four rounds evenly separated on the yoke.
