Knit in a DK/8ply yarn, this simple oversized jumper is a perfect winter wardrobe workhorse. 

The Louvre Sweater is worked from the top down with raglan increases on the yoke. Short rows are worked after the neck rib edge to shape the neckline

A great easy care match with Nordica superfine merino yarn. 

Yarn: Double Knit/8ply yarn

Meterage: 600 (600-650) 650-700 (750) 750-800 (750-800) 850 (950) g of DK/8ply yarn (50 g = 91 m)

Size: XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL)

The sweater is designed to have approximately 20cm of ease (the finished garment to be 20cm larger than your bust circumference). 

Bust circumference: 106 (110) 114 (120) 128 (136) 146 (154) cm 
Length: 57 (58) 60 (62) 63 (64) 65 (66) cm (measured mid back excl. neck edge)

Needles: Begin by working a swatch to determine which needle size you need to achieve the correct gauge. Note that the swatch needs to be washed and blocked before measuring the gauge.

Circular needles: 4 mm [US6] / 40 cm and 80 or 100 cm and 3.5 mm [US4] / 40 cm 

Double-pointed needles: 4 mm [US6] (unless the Magic Loop technique is used)

Gauge: 20 sts x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch on 4 mm [US6] needles after wash and blocking

Level:  Intermediate +
