Collins Brook Cowl is a versatile worsted-weight cowl pattern that is knit in the round and features an easy zig-zag lace stitch pattern.

This cowl can be created and worn in multiple ways:

  • Long version can be worn simply draped around the neck or wrapped twice around your neck
  • Short version can be worn around the neck or a button closure can be used for a closer fit
Never done any kind of simple lace work before? This pattern is a great choice for lace newbies and provides a good introduction into a couple of the most basic techniques that you’ll find with lace work.

Approx. 105 (210) yds worsted-weight yarn, shown in  Malabrigo Rios  (100% Merino; 100g = 210 yds, colour = Sunset), 1 skein.

Finished Measurements: Approx. 58 cm (119 cm) circumference x 15 cm height

Needles:US 8 / 5 mm 61 cm (81 cm) circular needle or size needed to obtain gauge

Fabric > This is cut to become a bespoke product, we are unable to offer a refund if you change your mind.  We encourage you to order a sample first if colour, texture and weight is important for your project.
