__________

Ponchetta is a cropped poncho/capelet, knit seamlessly from the bottom-up and makes a perfect little layering piece. With multiple sizes to pick from, it features an easy yet interesting stitch pattern and straight-forward construction.

It’s suitable for beginners looking to branch out from scarves and cowls and more advanced knitters will enjoy the relaxing nature of this knit.

It is knit like a big rectangle, then it’s put together by working the Three Needle Bind-Off to attach the Left Shoulders. Then remaining stitches are worked in the round to create the cowl neck. Tutorials are provided for all the techniques!

We imagine it will be a great match for The Woven Sumptuous Polwarth Alpaca Yarn or Malabrigo Rios
