A relatively quick knit for a snuggly and chic shawl that can effortlessly add warmth to any outfit.
This shawl is worked from the centre top down. Stitches are increased at each side on every other row to give it its characteristic crescent shape.

Yarn: Light worsted or DK weight yarn.
Meterage: approx. 570m of light worsted or DK weight yarn.
Size: Approx. 208 cm from side to side and 55 cm from top to bottom at deepest point (after blocking).
Needles: US 8 (5 mm) knitting needles
Notions: Tapestry needle, a split ring st marker, blocking pins or wires.
Gauge: 12 st and 28 rows to 10cm in garter st on US 8 (5 mm) needles after blocking.
