Closet Core Patterns Rika Pants
The Rika Pants are a versatile sewing pattern that gives you two great looks. Choose to sew a look that gives you tailored trousers or utilitarian workwear styling.
The trousers feature a high rise that sits just below the natural waist, a three-piece waistband, angled front pockets, a fly front zipper, and a straight leg.
- View A is cropped and tailored with deep hem cuffs, a tabbed waistband, angled belt loops, and rounded back pockets with flaps.
- View B is full-length and utilitarian with a classic waistband, wide belt loops, and carpenter-style pockets in the back.
This is a multi sized pattern including sizes 0-20.
Recommended Fabric : Stable bottomweight wovens such as cotton canvas, twill, denim, gabardine, or corduroy.

- Button, 16 mm or Sew-in hook and bar closure for pants 13 mm
- Optional: Snap buttons or small buttons to secure back pocket flap on View A
- Optional: Twill tape to reinforce front pocket openings, 0.5 m
- Optional: Double fold bias tape for finishing waistband (may be replaced with serged stitch), 2m
