No Frills Cardigan is an oversized cardigan that is worked top-down and shaped with raglan increases. It follows a seamless construction and requires very little finishing. The neck band is worked in rib st and it continues vertically into the front bands of the cardigan. Lastly, set-in pockets are worked on the front. It is worked holding the two suggested yarns together for extra warmth and colour mixing. Its simple design makes it a really wearable, timeless piece.
The cardigan is designed to have approximately 20 - 25cm of ease (the finished garment to be 20 - 25cm larger than your bust circumference).
Yarn: 4ply/Fingering+ Lace/2ply yarn
Meterage: 350 (350) 400 (450) 500 g 4ply/fingering weight yarn (50 g = 210 m) held together with
175 (175) 200 (225) 250 g Silk Mohair (25 g = 210 m) Note that the design is worked in 1 strand of 4ply / fingering yarn held together with one strand of the silk mohair

Total length measured mid back: 83 (85) 88 (91) 93 cm
Needles: Circular needles: 4 mm (US size 6) / 40 and 80-100 cm
DPNs : 4 mm double pointed needles
