The Maple Cowl is a beautiful light weight cowl, providing warmth but without the bulk. Using just 50g of lace weight yarn, you hold two strands together to knit this cowl.
Alternatively you could use one strand of fingering / 4ply yarn to achieve gauge.
Try one of our hazy Silk Mohair yarns, or select Malabrigo Silkpaca yarn if you want a smoother cowl with less haze.
Yarn: 2ply / Lace, or 4ply / fingering
Meterage:
Approx. 315m of lace-weight yarn (or half this amount if using 4ply yarn)
Needles: US 4 / 3.5 mm 40cm circular knitting needle or size needed to obtain gauge
Notions: 1 Stitch marker, tapestry needle
Gauge: 6 sts = 1” in St st (pattern worked with lace-weight yarn held double)
Level: Adventurous beginners
