The Terrazzo Sweater is worked from the top down. First the yoke is worked flat (back and forth) on the circular needles, while the neckline is being shaped, then the work is joined to be knitted in the round. The yoke is constructed with shoulder increases on both right side and wrong side rows on the first section. On the next section, increases are worked on the sleeves only, and on the final section classic raglan increases are worked on both body and sleeves. The turtleneck consists of a ribbed collar worked at the end, from stitches that are picked up and knitted along the neck edge. It is is worked in twisted rib. The sleeves are worked in the round either on double-pointed needles or on a long circular needle using the Magic Loop technique.
This pattern has been designed for Noro Silk Garden Sock Solo held together with a silk mohair lace such as Rowan Kidsilk Haze or Along Avec Anna Lace
Yarn: Sport/5ply (or light DK) + 2ply/Lace
Meterage: 400 (400) 400 (400) 400 (500) 500 g Noro Silk Garden Sock Solo (100 g = 300 m) held together with 125 (125) 125 (125) 125 (150) 150 g Silk Mohair (25 g = 212 m [232 yds])
Note: Two strands of yarn are held together throughout.

Designed to have approx. 14 cm of positive ease, meaning it is designed to be 14 cm larger in circumference than your bust measurement. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL are designed to fit a bust circumference of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 cm.

Needles: Begin by working a swatch to determine which needle size you need to achieve the correct gauge. Remember to wash your swatch before measuring the gauge
Circular needles: 5 mm [US8] / 40, 60 and 80 and/or 100 cm and 4 mm [US6] / 40cm; Double-pointed needles: 5 mm [US8]
Gauge: 17 sts x 25 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch on 5 mm [US8] needles after washing and blocking
23-24 sts x 24 rows = 10 x 10 cm in (k1, p1) rib on 4 mm [US6] needles after washing and blocking (gauge for turtleneck collar)
