This is a beautiful project to use up all your scraps of sock, fingering, 4ply yarn. Knit a few puffy hexagon shapes as you finish other knitting projects. Over time you will have enough to stitch together to create an eclectic, beautiful quilt.
Each hexagon is knitted in the round on DPN (double pointed needles)
Yarn: 4ply / fingering (use up your scraps!)
Meterage: approx 13m for each honeycomb.
Size: Each honeycomb is 7.5cm across from point to point. Approx 390 honeycombs make a quilt 90cm x 120cm
Needles: US 4 - 3.5 mm DPN (double pointed needles)
Gauge: 24 stitches and 34 rows = 10 cm in stocknette stitch
Level: Intermediate
