I am Marty is a sewing pattern with so many possibilities, 150 exactly! Swap out collars, sleeves, lengths, button plackets, gathers…
You can sew Marty to be a tiered top, tunic or dress - then choose from a straight or curved hem; five sleeve options: sleeveless, short sleeve, shirt sleeve and 3/4 sleeve or long sleeve with elasticated cuff; then select one of three different collars: Mandarin collar, shirt collar, and double shirt collar; there are also two buttoning options: polo style button placket or a classic button placket (partial or full length).
With endless possibilities, you can wear a different version for all occasions, all seasons, all eventualities. See the last image for all the possibilities!
Detailed instructions in English and French. The different pieces overlap with each other so you will need to trace the pattern onto tracing paper first.
This is a multi sized pattern including sizes: EUR 36 – 46.

Recommended Fabric : Lightweight to medium weight woven fabrics such as poplin, viscose, silk, Tencel, chambray, crêpe, brushed cotton, cupro, linen…
Fabric requirements: various depending on version you sew. See last three images for details.
You will also need:
Iron-on interfacing: 50 cm x 80 cm
12 mm wide buttons: 4 to 15 depending the chosen version
Double fold bias tape: 1.4m maximum
25mm wide elastic: 70cm maximum

Fabric > This is cut to become a bespoke product, we are unable to offer a refund if you change your mind. We encourage you to order a sample first if colour, texture and weight is important for your project.
Yarn + Other Goods > If you are not delighted with your purchase, we will happily refund, exchange or offer a store credit on full priced yarn and other goods within 30 days of purchase and in their original As New condition.
