This cozy, easy and seamless beanie for all the family features a lovely cable pattern that is designed to match the Silverfox cardigan.
This hat is knit seamlessly in the round and features an easy cable pattern on a garter stitch background. Directions for both a beanie and a slouchier style are included (except for newborn size). Both charts and written instructions are provided to accommodate personal preference.

Yarn: Double Knit/8ply yarn
Meterage: Approximately 68 (91, 114, 137, 160) meters of dk weight yarn for beanie version.
Approximately xx (110, 137, 183, 206) meters of dk weight yarn for slouch hat version
Size: For head circumference up to: 35.5 (40.5, 45.5, 50.5, 56) cm.
Finished beanie circumference is approximately: 30 (34, 38, 42, 46) cm.
Needles:
US 6 or 4mm 40cm circular needles (or size needed to match garter stitch gauge).
1 set of matching dpns for crown of hat.
US 4 or 3.5mm 40cm circular needles (i.e. 2 sizes smaller) for ribbing.
Cable needle or dpn
Notions: 8 stitch markers; tapestry needle;
Gauge: 20 sts x 48 rounds (i.e. 24 garter ridges) = 10cm in garter stitch in the round using larger needles, after blocking.
12-round cable motif is 1.3 inches or 3.5cm high
