Puiaki Shawl, Aroha Knits. Print Knitting Pattern
This is a beautifully printed knitting pattern which also includes a Ravelry download code.
Puiaki is Te Reo Maori for “treasure” or “precious”. This precious shawl is knit bottom-up using extremely simple short rows to form the body.
There is so much detail that goes into this particular stitch pattern, with it’s twisted stitches, increases, and decreases, as well as the cluster stitch, that you can’t help but just look at how beautiful it is!
This pattern requires a bit more concentration to work up, but the final result will be extremely worth it when you carry this precious shawl on your shoulders! Lovely to give as a gift to a friend, or to treat yourself to something a little more fancy!
