Birds of a Feather is a flowy and light shawl, starting at a single point and growing and shifting from ethereal mohair to silky smooth single ply into a piece that begs to be wrapped up in. This knitting pattern will team perfectly with our Prosper Beaut Single Merino Fingering and Prosper Mint Silk Mohair Lace yarn.
Yarn: Fingering/4ply/sock. plus Lace/2ply
Meterage: Approx 800 m of fingering-weight yarn, plus 410m of lace weight yarn
Size: Wingspan - 256 cm, Center depth - 67 cm
Needles: Size US 6/4 mm (32”/80 cm circular recommended)
Stitch marker and tapestry needle
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain gauge.
Gauge: (measured over garter stitch after blocking, using fingering weight yarn): 19 sts & 46 rows = 10cm
Level: Adventurous beginners
