Hand Crafted Wooden Tailor's Awl & Seam Ripper
Hand turned and crafted from reclaimed native timbers of Aotearoa. This beauty is two essential sewing tools in one - a tailor's awl and a seam ripper on each end of the turned wooded handle.
A seam ripper speaks for itself - we all make mistakes!
And once you have a Tailor's Awl in your sewing arsenal you will never want to go without. These little guys can do all sorts of handy things - such as: transferring pattern markings, installing rivets and jean buttons, and as a substitute finger when dealing with fiddly and pesky fabrics near the sewing machine needle!
Expertly hand crafted locally for Miss Maude using native Kauri wood rescued from an old demolished building - a beautiful and thoughtful gift or treat yourself. Each will be slightly different - the charm of natural materials and a thing well made with care.
