This little girl's pattern for ages 3 to 8 years is a charmingly simple interpretation of the Trapeze dress with a huge amount of swish factor.  Designed especially for swishing, swizzing and swinging - even when not allowed!

The Trapezette is simple to make with a single button back neck opening and rouleau loop and fully faced armholes and neck for small people comfort.  

Recommended fabrics: The brown dress in the photos has been made up in a medium weight soft wool tweed, while the spot fabric is a light weight cotton lawn. We recommend light to medium weight wovens such as lawn, linen, soft denim chambray and fine cord. Soft wools and tweeds are also suitable for colder climates.

You will also need matching thread, suitable lining for the facings like a muslin (or self fabric if using something lightweight like cotton or linen).

​Pick one special small button for the rouleau loop.
​This pattern is suitable for a beginner sewer.
